Newfresh is a Singapore based company set up by a group of local entrepreneurs. The team at Newfresh spotted a need for a simple and effective compact air purifiers using basic active carbon and good airflow principles. We were hired to build the brand communications and develop the air purifier technology into two products that enhanced the airflow principles and blended seamlessly into car interiors and home domains.
We created two different sizes for the air purifiers and studied the air flow optimization to determine the form factors. The final shapes were tweaked to achieve maximum toroidal movement of the air within the purifiers for hydro-efficiency. Drawing inspiration from the coral reefs, we developed a new identity for the products using an unique inter-weaving ventilation solution that was applied to the both sizes to accentuate the Newfresh brand.
On a non-selling floor of the retail chains, we wanted to leverage on the product to sell itself visually. The packaging was designed as a showcase with the branding and information bar acting as the stage for the product. We designed the brand identity, logo, naming strategy and the consumer friendly packaging as part of the brand communications effort.
